Feeling drained by 2PM? Try this today.
Habit of The Week: 2-3 Balanced Meals Per day (Day 5 out of 7)
Daily Habit Challenge: Eat 2-3 Balanced Meals Per Day
Idk about you, but as I’m sending this out its about 2pm and I could really use a nap😴. But instead I’m going to go ahead and grab my second cup of coffee for the day☕️.
Know if you’re feeling the same way I am, I just want you to know that it’s not a sign you’re lazy.
It could be a sign your body is just running out of fuel.
Most women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s don’t need more motivation if they want to lose weight.
But they do need to learn how to nourish their bodies better.
When your meals are low in protein or fiber, your blood sugar dips, energy crashes, and cravings kick in.
Thats just simple biology.
So here’s your goal for tomorrow is you consistently feel this crash in energy around this time:
Add one high-protein, high-fiber meal or snack to your day before 2 PM.
Something like:
Greek yogurt with fruit and granola
Chicken or tuna wrap with veggies
Eggs and whole-grain toast
Protein smoothie with spinach and berries
Don’t overthink it — just aim for 20+ grams of protein and something with fiber (fruit, veggies, or whole grains).
Why this is going to help keep your energy up is because it:
Keeps your blood sugar steady
Reduces cravings later in the day
Gives you steady, calm energy instead of the crash-and-burn cycle
When you feel balanced, you make better choices at dinner.
When you eat better at dinner, you sleep better.
And when you sleep better, everything feels easier tomorrow.
Try this one tweak and notice how your energy feels by 3PM.
If you don’t feel like you “need” that second cup of coffee — that’s progress showing up in real time.
Much love,
Coach Anthony
Ps. tomorrow we’ll talk about how to stay consistent even on the days that don’t go as planned — because that’s where most people lose momentum.
Ps. If this week’s been helping you feel more in control with food, imagine what we can do together in six weeks.
The SimplyFit Fat Loss Program takes these same habits and turns them into lasting results — without burnout or restriction.
