*NEW* Habit of The Week #4
The 80/20 Rule | A diet that finally fits your lifestyle (not the other way around)
If you’ve ever felt like you’re constantly starting over with your diet — you’re not alone.
Most women I work with have spent years trapped in the same exhausting pattern:
You start a new plan full of motivation.
You eat “perfectly” for a few days.
Then life happens (stress, late nights, kids, work) and you slip.
Cue the guilt, frustration, and the promise to “start fresh Monday.”
Sound familiar?
That used to be me, too.
When I first got into fitness, I believed success meant being disciplined to the extreme.
I followed every rule, said no to every “off-plan” food, and tied my worth to how perfect I could be.
One night, I was at dinner with friends, scanning the menu for something “safe.”
Everyone else was laughing, ordering what they wanted.
I ordered grilled chicken and broccoli but spent the entire meal staring at the fries on someone else’s plate.
I told myself I was being strong, but the truth was… I was miserable.
That night changed everything for me.
I realized I didn’t need another strict plan — I needed a sustainable one.
That’s when I discovered the 80/20 Rule (a simple way to eat that actually fits real life.)
Here’s what it means:
80% of your food comes from whole, nutrient-rich meals that make you feel good.
20% comes from foods you love that make life enjoyable (pizza, wine, chocolate, whatever that is for you.)
No guilt.
No “on or off.”
Just balance that works in the real world.
Over the next 7 days, I’m going to walk you through exactly how to use the 80/20 Rule to:
Lose fat without giving up your favorite foods
Feel more energized and in control
Finally stop starting over every Monday
But for today, I just want you to take a deep breath and remember this:
You don’t have to be perfect to make progress.
You just need a plan that gives you both structure and flexibility.
That’s what this weekly habit of the week is going to help you build.
Much love,
Coach Anthony
